Next expands ecommerce offerings
U.K. retailer Next recently launched a range of men's suits as an addition to its 2012 fashion collection. The slim fit shirts, pants and jackets can be viewed and purchased from Next's online store, and delivered the next day if orders are placed before 9 p.m.
Business suits are not the only items Next has added to its 2012 collection. The retailer has also launched a line of wedding suits with matching waistcoats and coordinating ties, pocket squares, bow ties and cravats. For younger wedding-goers, Next has developed a range of pageboy suits and boys' waistcoats with shoes and accessories to match.
In addition, Next has become the official formal wear sponsor of the London 2012 Olympic Games, and is making a line of suits specifically for the British athletes competing in the games to wear, while promoting the Next brand. The retailer has created navy suits with the British Olympic Association's "Better Never Stops" logo under the collar, which will be sold with a gold handkerchief for a limited time in U.K. stores to take advantage of the Olympic excitement, Bloomberg reported.
